About the role:

As a Data Scientist at Smartbi, you will drive innovation by developing and deploying advanced machine learning models and data-driven solutions to solve real-world problems for our industrial clients. You will work closely with data engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver predictive analytics that optimize business operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and deploy machine learning models for various industrial use cases.

  • Analyze and process large datasets to generate actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure succesfull implementation.

  • Communicate complex data results and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Contribute to improving ways of working for our clients, ensuring AI and data-centric solutions are seamlessly integrated into their daily operations.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data science or machine learning.

  • Strong analytical and mathematical understanding.

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with Azure cloud platform.

  • Experience with machine learning and data science tools such as Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch.

  • Familiarity with APIs, Git, and good coding practices.

  • Skills in data visualization using tools like Matplotlib and Seaborn.

  • Strong understanding of MLOps concepts.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • Fluency in English; Finnish is a plus.
